BCAC offers training on ” Why and how to create a culture of integrity within a company.” More specifically, BCAC proposes an approach for developing and implementing ethics and compliance Program in business. This training also provides a platform for exchange and networking between companies engaged in the fight against corruption.

Human resources: a pool of experts and practitioners available ; Material resources: an appropriate toolkit in business ethics and compliance, including a good practice guide, training modules, a collection of various laws related to the fight against corruption and a website on line.
BCAC offers a one-day training, but can also provide longer trainings in agreement with requesting companies and according to their needs.
Trainings are addressed to all organisations established in Cameroon: Sub-contractors, subsidiaries and branches of multinationals; Small, medium size and large companies based in Cameroon; Professional associations.

Coaching is the next step after training and consists of supporting individuals and companies who have already been trained.
How coaching works?
BCAC coaching covers two aspects: Assessment of specific needs of the companies trained consequent upon to their engagement within the coalition; Attribution of a coach who would provide support and advice to meet the needs of the company. However, the company is responsible for the implementation of the program.

Project Manager: main interface with member organisations; Qualified and available coaches chosen among ethics and compliance officers within their organisations.

How do you benefit from coaching offered by BCAC?
Companies wishing to take advantage of coaching must:
Participate in training provided by BCAC;
Commit through their leaders, to implement Ethics and Compliance Programs internally;
Designate human resources to implement,
Ethics and Compliance Programs;
Commit to provide feedback to the Project Manager and participate in meetings to share experiences with other member companies.
Follow-up & Communication
Generally, follow-up means monitoring member companies to learn about the progress in implementing of Ethics and Compliance Programs. BCAC then reports on this progress to its members and a wider public to promote anti-corruption practice in the private sector.
Follow-up includes: regular assessment on their progress in implementing Ethics and Compliance Programmes and identify problems faced by the companies; Specific and adapted support to the concerns submitted by the coaches or other expertise (TI Cameroon, NACC…); Process complaints of corrupt acts through the autonomous whistle blowing system of the NACC; Share experience through interactivity of BCAC’s virtual platform.
Communication is done mainly through:
Real-time and permanent dissemination of information via the project’s web page;
Two communication events a year;
Who does the follow-up & communication ?
The Project Manager who is the person relaying information between different actors of the Project;
The coaches who insure monitoring among member companies through the Project Manager;
Member companies of the coalition as BCAC’s vectors through sharing experiences.
